Transition feeding in Dutch sow barn

A smooth transition from low energy feed at the gestation to high energy feed in the farrowing compartments of sow complexes is of high importance. The right timing is needed to support the sow and create a smooth farrowing process, to achieve vital litters, that are on target weight and have high survival rates.



With the VDL600 tube feeding system, sow managers can plan for the perfect this transition.
